This work is priced framed. Framed in a lime-waxed box frame with off-white window mount.

'Grytviken is home to several derelict ships including ‘Petrel,’ a surviving example of a steam-powered whale catcher – complete with its harpoon gun mounted high on the prow. Across the bay is King Edward Point, site of the former British garrison and now home to a British Antarctic Survey fishery research station – it also houses the South Georgia Marine Officer, the government’s sole representative with responsibility for local administration – this includes the duties of harbour master, customs and immigration officer, fisheries officer and sub post master.'
Journal entry, South Georgia, 3 March 2007
