Adrian Wiszniewski RSA rose to fame in the 1980s as one of the ‘New Glasgow Boys,’ a group of young Glasgow School of Art graduates celebrated for repositioning figuration as a legitimate mode of expression in contemporary art. Known for his wide-reaching imagination and potent symbolism, Wiszniewski has recently shifted focus, making the Scottish landscape his primary subject. This exhibition includes a new series of woodcuts and drawings that highlight his elegant draughtsmanship and virtuosic skill as a printmaker.
