Frances Walker: Travelling On

Frances Walker: Travelling On, an exhibition of prints and paintings by one of the most recognisable names in Scottish art, Frances Walker. The exhibition was mounted in the Upper Galleries of the Royal Scottish Academy in August 2021.

Having celebrated her 90th birthday in 2020, the Royal Scottish Academy is delighted to host an exhibition traversing the breadth of her illustrious career.

Including selections of works from Walker’s travels to placed including Iceland, Finland, Antarctica and the Western Isles; the exhibition will be an opportunity to view a significant body of work by one of Scotland’s most influential artists.

This fully-illustrated catalogue documents the works included in the exhibition, with an introduction by RSA Director, Colin Greenslade.
